Community network events

Connect, collaborate and learn

RVA hosts popular in-person Community Network events four times a year, bringing together charities, community groups, social enterprises, public sector partners and local organisations from across Rother.

They are a chance to share ideas, build relationships, discover opportunities and learn about the issues affecting our communities. Whether you’re an established organisation or just getting started, our network events provide a welcoming space to connect with others who are making a difference locally.

Why attend?

At our Community Network events you can:

  • Meet local organisations and community leaders
  • Share challenges, ideas and good practice
  • Learn about funding, partnerships and local initiatives
  • Hear updates from key local partners
  • Discover opportunities for collaboration
  • Help shape conversations about the future of our communities

More than networking

Community Network events are about more than exchanging contact details.

They help build the relationships that lead to stronger projects, better support for local people and a more connected voluntary and community sector. They also provide an opportunity for local organisations to raise issues, share insights and contribute to wider conversations taking place across public health, local government and community services.

Who should attend?

Our events are open to:

  • Charities and voluntary organisations
  • Community groups and residents’ associations
  • Social enterprises and CICs
  • Trustees and volunteers
  • Public sector and health partners
  • Anyone interested in strengthening communities across Rother
