At Rother Voluntary Action (RVA) our mission is to support local individuals, community groups, charities and social enterprises to fulfil their potential. We help guide people looking to make a difference in our community.
From volunteering to running their own charity, our team is here to help every step of the way, highlighting and nurturing the incredible communities across Rother by:
- supporting the development of knowledge, skills and confidence
- empowering people to make their ideas a reality
- connecting Rother’s communities via networks and helping amplify their voices and influence
- supporting volunteers and celebrating compassionate community action.
Local Infrastructure Quality Accreditation (LIQA)
In June 2025, we were awarded a Local Infrastructure Quality Accreditation (LIQA) from NAVCA – the national membership body for local infrastructure organisations. This was granted after an independent review of the quality of our offer and our impact in supporting local voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) across Rother.
