Our RVA team forms part of the Homes for Ukraine partnership in East Sussex which supports Ukrainians, their hosts and their local communities in the Rother districts. We help many people in the community with up-to-date informed advice and practical assistance with:
- finding a new host, hosting arrangements, support for host
- housing and renting
- benefits
- UPE visas
- administrative issues, household bills, council tax, etc
- employment and taxes
- education, schools and training courses
- English courses and activities to improve your English
- NHS, GPs and finding a dentist
- mental health services
- activities for all in the family and events in your area
- support groups for Ukrainians and their hosts
- Ukrainian interpretation support.
Bexhill hub
The Bexhill hub for Ukraine takes place at Beulah Baptist church every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm. It is a drop-in surgery for Ukrainians from across Rother to find help and advice around housing, visas, schools, doctors and anything else.
Join other Ukrainians for a coffee and chat. Lunch is also provided.
