Where it began
Rother Voluntary Action (RVA) began on the 17th January 2005 and was formed from the merger of three smaller voluntary actions based in Bexhill, Battle and Rye. The merger brought together years of experience, contacts and knowledge about the sector into one Rother-wide service.
We are best known for our community networks, which help support a thriving voluntary sector in Rother and our one-to-one support to help people with big ideas make a difference in their communities. We have also run many projects that help further our aims.
