Therapeutic Practitioner for Children & Young People with Interventions Alliance
Location: East Sussex (working across refuge services)
Contract: Full-time, 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,816 per annum
About the role
This is far more than a support role.
You’ll build meaningful relationships with children and young people aged 0–18, providing therapeutic, practical and emotional support tailored to their individual needs. Working from a trauma-informed and social pedagogical approach, you’ll create opportunities for children to play, express themselves, build confidence and develop healthy relationships.
No two days are the same. One day you might be delivering a creative therapeutic activity with a young child, the next supporting a teenager with life skills, advocating with a school, or helping a family navigate a difficult transition.
You’ll work flexibly across our refuge accommodation throughout East Sussex as part of a compassionate, reflective and supportive team committed to achieving the very best outcomes for children.
- Two vacancies – one based in Bexhill and one covering Seaford, Crowborough and Eastbourne
- Involves travel across refuge services throughout East Sussex.

- An Enhanced DBS check is required.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
Apply online – deadline Friday 24th July.
