Thought about Crowdfunding?

Need help raising funds for a project or business? Crowdfunding could be the answer.

The idea of raising money for a community project or a new business idea can be daunting. Crowdfunding can help you secure funds and engage with large audiences through the power of the Internet.

Crowdfund East Sussex is a way for groups and organisations of all shapes and sizes in the county to bring their ideas to life. Working with partners from across East Sussex, Crowdfunder wants to help local people and businesses not only raise vital funds, but also access expert advice and support throughout their fund-raising journey.
Not only that, but if you are a local not-for-profit organisation and your project makes a real difference in your communities you may also be eligible for matched funding from the Building Stronger Communities Fund, up to 50% of your fund-raising target, or £2,500.

So, if you have an idea or initiative that you want to raise funds for, come along to learn more about Crowdfunding and the support on offer from Crowdfund East Sussex at one of our upcoming workshops.
We’ll be at Eastbourne Town Hall on Tuesday 10th September from 1pm – 3pm and at Sussex College Hastings on Tuesday 17th September from 9am – 11am holding workshops covering all aspects of crowdfunding, including:
• What is crowdfunding?
