RVA job opportunities HAIRE Project Support worker

HAIRE is a 2 year research project working with older people in the Robertsbridge and Rye areas to develop and test systems that empower and enable older people to define what support they need; participate in the design and delivery of services; and develop solutions for themselves.  To help do this, the project will use Guided Conversations, develop personal Action Plans and Co-design sessions to help local people discover what is needed and what assets and strengths they have to make a difference in their community.

This new role will support the Project Team in enabling stakeholders to feel empowered to make a difference in their community by participating in the design of new services and seeking to build on the community’s strengths and assets, primarily:

  • Organising the recruitment, training and ongoing development of Enablers,
  • Working with Enablers/stakeholders to identify Participants;
  • Supporting Enablers and Participants to enable the project to meet its targets and have a positive experience;
  • Keeping accurate records
