Statement on recent violent disorder

RVA condemns the violent disorder that’s been happening over recent days. It’s utterly heartbreaking to see the violence towards and vilification of minority communities.
As the voluntary action organisation that supports community groups and charities across Rother, we see the hard work they do to unite communities, tackle racism and build positive futures for all people locally.
Our message is about coming together to reject hate and intolerance. Together, we stand with the communities affected, in particular, individuals and families who are the victims of hate.
We will work with our members across Rother to support those affected today and into the future as we continue to build positive, welcoming communities. We’re here for everyone and are committed to making our community a better place.
We will continue to support and care for each other.
