MOPP is a small local charity for older residents based in Fairlight who meet at the Village Hall each Friday from 9.30am – 2.30pm offering refreshments, entertainment, keep fit and a healthy two course lunch.   MOPP can also offer free hearing aid batteries, toe nail cutting, visits from local shops, advice and (where required) subsidised transport to and from the weekly meetings.

MOPP stands for Marsham Older Peoples Project and is open to residents of Marsham Ward in Rother.  There is a nominal charge for the day, which together with their fundraising keeps the group open.

MOPP are looking for people who can help.  This is mainly for people who can attend on Fridays between 9am and 2pm to help with looking after our members, making tea, serving lunch, collecting money, meeting and greeting etc. and also

for those who could help in the kitchen.

MOPP is also seeking new Committee members.
