Have you signed up to Child Safety Week?
Child Safety Week is run by Child Accident Prevention Trust to raise awareness of the risks of child accidents and how they can be prevented. Running from Monday 3rd June to Sunday 9th June 2019, the theme of this year’s Child Safety Week is Family life today: where’s the risk? It highlights the new dangers facing families today from our modern lifestyles and offers simple solutions to keep children safe.
New dangers in the home include things like button batteries that can kill when swallowed, child appealing washing capsules that can poison or nappy sacks stored under cot mattresses that can suffocate babies. Child Safety Week 2019 aims to cut through the noise and offer families and practitioners working with families some simple answers to today’s accident risks.
