Friends Altogether in Rother is a relatively new charity which reduces isolation by supporting residents of rural Rother to be connected through events and activities.
Our telephone befriending service is just being launched.
We are looking for volunteer Telephone Befrienders, to offer Companionship Calls to lonely, isolated, older residents of rural Rother areas.
Making a call and having a chat, even just for an hour once a week, is a small action that can make a big difference to someone’s life, and can connect them to their community.
