Dementia Awareness Week – what’s happening in Bexhill
ALIVE INSIDE – A unique film exploring how music can transform the lives of people with dementia.
15th -21st May is Dementia Awareness week. As part of Bexhill Dementia Action Alliance’s role in making Bexhill a dementia friendly town, we are happy to announce that the groundbreaking film, Alive Inside (PG) will be showing at the DeLaWarr Pavilion on Wednesday 18th May at 7:30pm.
Alive Inside is a joyous cinematic exploration of music and memory’s capacity to reawaken our souls and uncover the deepest parts of our humanity.
This film chronicles the astonishing experiences of people with people with dementia who have been revitalised through the simple experience of listening to music
This performance will be a fundraiser for the hugely successful Musical Matinee Afternoons, screened at the DeLaWarr, which are a series of relaxed cinema showings aimed at those with dementia and other disabilities.
