Clean Seas Please

RVA extends partnership working with Environment Agency

Now entering its 6th year, Clean Seas Please is the Environment Agency supported community campaign managed by RVA to encourage people living across Hastings and Bexhill to help improve the quality of local sea water.

A long standing partnership of  RVA,  Environment Agency, Brighton University, Southern Water, Hastings Borough Council, Education Futures Trust and Hastings Voluntary Action saw Hastings and Bexhill maintain and/or improve their sea water quality as residents joined the campaign for responsible flushing at home, rectifying missed plumbing connection, and disposing of kitchen fats and oils in the bin rather than the sink. The campaign is now extending further into Bexhill

The campaign which has been highlighted nationally now continues through a series of events over the Summer of 2017 across the two towns.
