Can you make use of additional volunteers during the Covid-19 pandemic?

Can you make use of additional volunteers during the Covid-19 pandemic?

Can you make use of additional volunteers?

We are also aware that there are people asking how they can help, as well as organisations having a number of volunteers who may now be self isolating.  We would like to help you find new/additional volunteers

Could you please complete the attached information for your organisation and return it to us as soon as possible?   We have asked what roles you are looking for and times etc – just fill in what you know – its there for those groups who have specific needs (eg delivering lunches)

Please complete the form and we will get your opportunities out there as soon as we can

We are gathering information from groups and will post it on our website and through social media.  We already link our volunteering opportunities to the Rother My Alerts newsletter and will have a specific link for coronavirus pandemic volunteering requests

Working together

It will be very important to work together.  If you are contacted by a resident needing help, but don’t have a suitable volunteer available – you need to signpost them to another organisation who might be able to help.   If you have a volunteer available, but don’t have a job for them to do – signpost them to others that might be able to use them.

We are publishing all the information groups send us whether its cancelled events and activities, changes to services or other actions being taken.
