We will share our learning from the first two years of the East Sussex Active Access for Growth programme, which your organisation may have engaged in. We will also be starting to have a conversation about how active and sustainable travel can help support a variety of policy sector outcomes.

Whether you work in health and social care, environment, transport, education, economic development, training, housing or other sectors in East Sussex, please get involved to see how we can work together now or in the future.

What is AAfG?

East Sussex Active Access for Growth (AAfG) is a three year DfT funded programme (April 2017 – March 2020) aimed at increasing active travel (cycling, walking and public transport) across the key East Sussex growth areas – Newhaven, Eastbourne/South Wealden and Bexhill/Hastings.

Led ride and walk:

Please also sign up for a short learning walk around Eastbourne focussing on public realm improvements or a gentle but energising cycle ride at the start of the day.
