Vacancy – The Pelham Hub Facilitator

The Pelham CIO is a local charity run in accordance with Christian principles for the public benefit, to further or benefit the residents of Sidley, wider Bexhill and East Sussex. The Pelham is proud to be working in partnership with Hastings & Rother Clinical Commissioining Group, Hastings Borough Council and Sussex Community Development Association (SCDA) to develop an exciting new Health & Wellbeing Hub in Bexhill Central and Sidley.



The Pelham Hub Facilitator

24 hours per week- Based at The Pelham, Bexhill-On-Sea

Salary- £18,000 to £20,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience

Fixed Term Contract for 18 months



This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-growing and creative charity, as it expands its Healthy & Wellbeing provision to the local community. We are looking for someone to work alongside the existing Operations & Development Manager in facilitating the operations and day to day life of The Pelham, as well as developing new partnerships in line with The Pelham growing as a Health & Wellbeing Hub.


The role will include hosting activites and partnerships at The Pelham, including the day to day oversight of the Coffee Lounge and bookings. This person will also oversee The Pelham’s volunteers, encouraging their long-term involvement and development. They will play a key role in communicating between all aspects of the charity, from customers and volunteers, to the trustees and manager.


We are looking for someone who has strong inter-personal skills, with the flexibility to work on office based tasks, as well as networking across the town. This is a role that will develop over the course of the 18 months, so it is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the local area, with the target of extending this contract beyond the 18 months.


The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check, with acess to a car being preferable, but not essential.
