Power Partners: second round of funding from UK Power Networks for community organisations

Power Partners is a £300,000 community investment fund from UK Power Networks, the company that owns and maintains electricity infrastructure in the South East, East of England and London. Not-for-profit organisations and community groups can apply for sums of between £2,000 and £20,000 for initiatives that increase local energy resilience, improve the energy efficiency of community spaces or support people in vulnerable circumstances. 16 successful groups in round one are already undertaking great projects which you can read about here.

Round 2 of the grant scheme launches today (24 June 2019) as part of Community Energy Fortnight, and will give significant support to up to 20 not-for-profit organisations in UK Power Network’s region.

The deadline for applications in Round 2 is midnight on 18 August 2019. For more detail on the eligibility criteria, deadlines and guidance for applicants, click here to go to our project profile.
