In Living Memory Exhibition in Bexhill Old Town
Bexhill Old Town Preservation Society is holding an Exhibition on 3rd and 4th June in Manor Barn and Gardens looking back at the years 1900 to1925 in the Old Town and also further afield.
Alongside the Exhibition entertainment will be provided by the Charleston Dancers, the Swingadillas, Hooe Village Band and Lacey Theatre Arts. Films will be shown of reminiscences of local people and on the Saturday afternoon Julian Porter, Curator of Bexhill Museum will give a talk on postcards, the popular communication method of the period. Visitors will also be able to try their hand at skittles on a hand made skittle alley and watch a traditional Punch and Judy show.
The Exhibition is open from 10.30am to 4pm on both days and entry to the Exhibition is free.
