For our final day of Volunteers Week we have gone back to Little Gate Farm and can hear Carl talking about the difference volunteering has made to his life. Just click on the pic of Carl outside the stable he built to hear his story.




Volunteers Week is rapidly coming to an end.  Today we are looking at Jackie who runs the Walk2Run group at The Pelham.  She started the group with support from Getting Rother Active. Click the pic to hear her story.





Day 5 of Volunteer Week and we have been speaking to Matt from Hastings Round Table were helping out at the Out of the Blue event at Ashburnham Place

Day Four and RVA were at the Stroke Association service launch in Stone Cross where we met Caroline who volunteers with Bexhill Dementia Action Alliance





3rd of June and we visit a fundraising event – a 5K and 10K run held at Ashburnham Place for the Out of the Blue Charity, which raises money for local charities that helped their own family. Click the pic to see the video.






Our 2nd June visit is to the Pelham on the corner of Wrestwood oad and Holliers Hill in Bexhill.  The old derelict pub was bought and has been refurbished as a community hub, mainly run by volunteers.
